Couldn't agree more Mike, and thanks again for looking into it, I know you guys are busy. Hopefully we have enlightened a few people at least to...
It seems like a shady deal to me. Thanks for looking into it Frisk.
According to the analysis report I got, the CLASSIDs are randomly generated each time the trojan is executed which adds to the difficulty in...

Ahhh, makes sense now, thanks for the clarification Marcos. So this was an FP, but the Allaple one in the other thread was not, correct?
It is not a FP. The only reason I asked was that Marcos said it SEEMS to contain Allaple code, not it DOES, so I just wanted some clarification....
The score for F-Prot is version 6, the score for Command is version 3
For F-Prot 3? About a 7
Oh I haven't, beleive me, I have pissed off Eset more than once I am sure of that.
I think Blue is well aware that Eset has been less than stellar with this version. They are getting it together, slowly, but they are getting there.
Very strange, if you try to download the file you get the alert. If you turn off NOD, download it then scan it you don't get any alert.
No, as i said, I was not making accusations but the statements on their web site did not seem to be plausible and that Frisk was unaware of any...

Defs are put out jointly, Frisk adds defs as does Authentium/Command and users of both products get the same defs. I would imagine people using...
Authentium's threat matrix; http://www.authentium.com/threatmatrix/ Iolo's Threat Center http://www.iolo.com/threatcenter/ Again, very...
Authentium uses the F-Prot engine as well.
Iolo's latest threat is W32/Downldr2.AXIB A cut and paste from Authentium's site describing their new name scheme; Malware Name Changes...
I think it would mysteriously score about the same as F-Prot.
