2011 was BAD YEAR of Avast! ;D that's why I switched back to NIS in early this year while I still having 6 months subs left.
True all last year,Avast did poorly according AVC result ;D

Try sys restore/rollback to previous state if you turned it ON ;D or running disk image backup.
