Removed a-Squared Free. I found it uses a service even in idle, without opening the application itself.
Added some on-demand scanners, namely SAS and a-Squared.
Removed Returnil. I don't really have any use for this program, since I already have EAZ-Fix.
Like others said, buffer overflow protection has now been integrated to CIS. I recommend you to use CIS instead, since memory firewall module is...
Removed Rising PC Doctor. Now using: DSL router Avira Antivir Online Armor EAZ-Fix Sandboxie Returnil External HD (as backup)
It's solid, but I don't think it's light though. You have at least 3 HIPS programs overlapping each other. (DefenseWall, OA, TF)
Removed Outpost Security Suite (for now ;D ) Currently using Online Armor 3.5 (thanks GOTD!)
It doesn't seem to be functioning in my PC also. The accounts I made are frozen. The program seems to be full of bugs.
I've used it some time ago. All I can say is it is extremely heavy in resources, but works fine in PCs w/ dual-core processors and above.
Testing Online-Armor 3.5
How did I forget?? :o :o My favorite amongst them all, OSS (Outpost Security Suite PRO) ;D
KIS (Kaspersky Internet Security 2009) NIS (Norton Internet Security 2009) ESET Smart Security 4 CIS (Comodo Internet Security)* Rising...
Removed Panda Cloud AV. Found it to run too many process; takes too much memory space for an AV. I've heard of Avira 9 Personal and Avira 9...
As I see it, sandboxes are a good way of -- how shall I say it -- "deceiving" malware of their true purposes. It makes it think that it has...
Added Panda Cloud AV. Honestly, I find all these "cloud tech" programs quite amusing ;D
You forgot to add: Winpooch ComboFix SD-Fix
Both COMODO and Outpost have very good HIPS anti-leak technology, as proven by Matousec tests. Thanks! Yours is a nice setup too :thumb:
Yeppers. I recommend you add virtualization programs, just in case anything manages to slip up the turret.
Actually, all my browsers and IMs are sandboxed w/ Sandboxie lol I just don't put Sandboxie in my sig since it's a given for me. The others that...
Removed all my on-demand scanners, and settled for Avira 9 for real-time protection against malware. Coupled with OSS, I think it's a solid combo.
I never trust PCMag's reviews. Not as comprehensive as the other comparative reviews, like AV-Comparatives.com. @PrevxHelp Thanks for the...
@PrevxHelp I probably asked this question before, but it bothers me... Does Prevx still detect malware even if your PC is Offline? Or do...

You are perfectly secure with that setup. Outpost Free's HIPS will take care of most things for you. But you have to take care about decisions...
Hmmm... Seems like they are following the footsteps of Panda Cloud AV. OT: Anyways, I wonder how this cloud tech really works? Does the...
