    yes an image restore is perfect..but it has to be done like every week[in a dvd-rw,.just to save in extra discs] ,to keep the sytem updated and...

    Avira won't go away!

    boot in safe mode,open registry and deletes all avira folders. or use registry life [free] or ccleaner slim version.

    Your DSL line is not synchronized. Disabling firewall solves the issue.
