Any app that installs numerous services onto your system compared to similar products with similar functionality is suspect. When I installed...
I gave up on Acronis years back, but loved it from v8.x to Echo...after that they tied too much into it, it got bloated, and you know the sad...
For a few reasons...in a corporate environment most System Restore settings are controlled by GPO and therefore not settings you can change...
"It seems like a strange testimonal for "true image integrity" if you follow your own advice and don't actually install the application." My...
I run into malware/virus infested System Restore points all the time at work. Huge pain and so hard to clean up.
I second that one...that and true image integrity. :)
Agreed. Although in my case I am testing out Rollback RX. Seems like a perfect solution to quickly protect my desktop before the kids go on it.
One last question...the Rollback RX manual states this a few times when talking about taking snapshots: "**To ensure best snapshot’s integrity,...
Ah good call...I do have O&O DiskImage 6 installed on the laptop but never use it (I actually meant to remove it). I will remove it. Thanks!
Thanks. I noticed, too, after it installed and I looked at it, the next time I powered on my laptop a check disk ran saying my sytem was not...
Hey all, I finally installed it this weekend and had a question...on my Windows 7 system I have three partitions...the 100mb System Reserved, a...

Did you do an offline (cold) image or a live (hot) one?
Good luck!
Acronis Boot CD (v8.x)...imaged, and restored...all was well, just restored as Basic Disks. You can easily go back to Dynamic Disks after the fact...
As MrBrian mentioned, I think it will work...but again, I can't test with Easeus. I have done this fine with Acronis.
I can attest that while I still prefer IFW/IFL a little more, DS is rock solid and has never failed me either. You can't go wrong with either.
It should, yes...I can't test it myself with Easeus, but I have done this procedure before.
I just replied in the other thread with this: "Well it will restore...it will just restore it as a Basic Disk rather than a Dynamic Disk. If...
