Hope someone can help.

Have the above version installed but auto update still does not work, and to make it worse neither does manual update (failed to connect to server update.ewido.net) is the error message.

I thought these update problems had been dealt with in the latest release.

I am not impressed, Ewido version 4 exhibited none of these problems.

Anybody still have update problems with new release?

Sounds like a software firewall blocking problem. New version, new entry needed in your firewall.

 

I am running Kerio personal firewall, strange but when I disable the firewall Anti-Spyware update shows this message ( http 1.0 500 Internal server error)

Thanks for the replys so far guys, any further suggestions as to what to try?

Please take a look at the thread below. I'm not sure if this is the cause of your error, but it may be that the update server was down when you tried.

I run it on both computers. One has LnS firewall, and the other Kerio 2.1.5. The first has KAV 6, and the second F-Secure.

I have experienced zero problems since upgrading to 7.5. It updates well, and all goes as expected.

I had the same issue with 4.0 and BitDefender and Kerio PFW. To update correctly I'd to disable BitDefender HTTP scanning during Ewido Update.
