I get an error message (in German) at the end of the Spybot check. And when I try to Immunize, I'm told there are 1996 items in the database and that 2 further items need to be added. I add them and I'm then told that the database has 1998 entries. The next time I bring up Spybot, the number has gone back to 1996. This happens every time. Is this serious?

Error during check!: Z-Demon (Ungültiger Datentyp für '') ()
    Or in English:
Error during check!: Z-Demon (Invalid data type for '') ()
Is this the german error message you was referring to?

If so, take a look here > http://forums.net-integration.net/index.php?showtopic=29035 (the link will have another link, giving a more in-depth explanation)

As for your Immunization problem, I stumbled apon this thread, which seems to be similar to your problem. Take a look here! >
http://forums.net-integration.net/index.php?showtopic=28984&hl=immunize if that does sound familiar to you, then as Bitman says, it's just a bug in Spybot, which such be fixed with an upcoming update.

    hope I helped out!

    regards

    Thanks.

Uninstalled then re-installed Spybot. Same problem. And yes, same as the thread you pointed me to. Only difference now is that 1986 doesn't change to 1988 when I immunize as it used to. It now keeps telling me that there are tow items that need to be added.

What I can't understand is why this has only just happened. I have used Spybot for months without the problem appearing.

RE-install and updade don't help. I use Adaware, Spybot, SpywareBlaster. Never had any conflicts before: using all three for months

Don't have a reg cleaner. Which do you suggest?

There was a quirk in the 2005-03-03 update and the Immunization thread LJM Master posted above should have answered your question concerning Immunization.

Thank you so much. Appreciated. Mind at rest. Assume protection and Tea Timer actually working as they should.
