German government advises against using Kaspersky antivirus

    From 1st article. "...While Kaspersky is likely trustworthy and ethical, it still has to abide by Russian laws and regulations, including allowing state agents to access private firm databases..."

    In addition to possible privacy issues, Kaspersky is pop-up city and I would not use it again until they can make it as silent as Windows Defender which I highly doubt.

    My understanding is that though part of Kaspersky's operation is in Zurich their headquarters is in Moscow. I would heed Germany's warning.
