I apologize if I wasn't clear, but that's how I ultimately uninstalled Eset--using the their uninstall utility. However, I had to run it 3 times. And, even then, I still had the issues with the Windows firewall not working. But, it's over now and I think things are ok now (crossing my fingers). P.S.--one interesting note is that through this process, I found a little known built-in Windows 10 app or tool (at least it was little known to me). I don't remember the exact name, but it was something like "Windows firewall repair tool" or something similar. I don't even remember how exactly I found it. (I had been looking all over the web for some type of Windows firewall repair tool and I found a post relating to a built-in function/tool.) Anyway, using this built-in tool/app/function, Windows firewall essentially fixed itself.

Thanks all Let us continue in the new thread for version 14 https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/eset-windows-home-products-version-14.433533/ Thanks!
I am getting strange connections on eset outbound, ekrn.exe also the latest version seams to run slow: 14.0.22.0 probably it is just ekrn.exe scanning http/https on port 80 (browser), but just wanted to be sure
This is normal activity performed by Eset Web Access protection. It scans all HTTP traffic. It also, using its SSL/TLS protocol scanning feature, scans all HTTPS traffic.
I'd recommend upgrading to the latest v14.0.22. Should you come across performance issues after a clean install with default settings, we'd like to check an advanced operating system log that you can generate from within the program. I would also recommend that you post in the ESET official forum at https://forum.eset.com
I have a license for EIS for 3 devices, including android (according to the info from the retailer). I have one license seat free, and have activated a trial on my Android phone, all devices are on my ESET portal. Will the Android version activate automatically after the trial period ends or do I have to manually assign it a license through the portal? I don't see how to do that ATM.
I don't know why the recent posts were posted in this thread about Eset version 13. We have a thread for the current version 14. https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/eset-windows-home-products-version-14.433533/page-3 Could we please continue there. Thank you!
