Maybe ads in 360TSE are placed in a different way than in 360TS (the one I used before)... Anyway, thanks for your advice
Hi cruelsister, I've watched the video, very interesting It would be nice to check if Tencent PC Manager can do the same. If I look at the specifications of the two products, it seems that they offer quite similar features (Qihoo adds the sandbox). Thanks
Hi cruelsister, I watched your video about Qihoo vs. a Revenge ransomware, very nice Nevertheless, I found other videos where Qihoo fails vs. other ransowmares: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rhKruCX1wo&ytbChannel=Juan Diaz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHbN8GChjJw&ytbChannel=GizVN https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAN7S8q8Poc&ytbChannel=Juan Diaz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZSiO6VS0rk&ytbChannel=Juan Diaz I know it's not easy to comment on someone else's test, but what do you think? Thanks
It is hard to comment. Two of the above use version 8 of Qihoo which isn't that good against undetected ransomware. The other two (Popcorn, a one-off script kiddie thingy from December and the Cerber) would be hard to duplicate. Please understand that the File Protection shown by Qihoo TS was as much a surprise to me as to you. I'm currently calling my Homies for some zero day samples to verify what I found in the video. So far I've been getting stuff which, although undetected by conventional AV's, are being blocked by Qihoo because they use dll injection to work (CryptoLockers) and Jscript Cerber 5's which have also been stopped due to suspicious processes. So far a dozen sample that have been in the Wild for about 12 hours haven't gotten through. Maybe it's just that the stuff showing up this morning is crap. I will keep trying but understand it not as easy as it may seem. But I can also say that a certain product that just got a 100% on AVC did not fair well against the samples I received today.
So, are you saying that 360TS 9 actually brought some improvements? So, now 360TS is superior to 360TSE ? That's not surprising, test comparatives are seldom reproducing the "in the wild" world By the way, I'd like to see more comparatives between Qihoo and Tencent because I think they have a lot of similarities

Imuade- Regarding QTS abd QSE- I noticed today that QSE is still on version 8 and has not been updated since August, whereas QTS is on version 9 and since the beginning of February has had 4 updates alone.
Are you using Bitdefender and/or Avira or just Qihoo AV? if the latter, the answer is that Qihoo AV is cloud only, so it doesn't download local signatures
When will 360 TS work with Firefox 52 browser? I had to go back to ver 51 in order to use 360 protection. It will not install in ver 52.
How do we know it's effectiveness in detecting viruses? Is 360 tested by any of the independent labs like AV-Comparative?
https://chart.av-comparatives.org/chart1.php "Real-World Protection Test" - December 2014. There you can see "Qihoo - 360" the last time. After this time it isn't listed anymore in the test results.

Just updated to latest version of 360 TS, and still the same. I can't believe I'm the only one with this problem. Win 10 Pro, x64. I am unable to run anything in the 360 TS Sandbox. Any program I try comes back with the message "The file you chose is not supported by sandbox at the moment". If I use My Toys to Add auto-sandbox program and then Launch in the sandbox, I get "Selected program cannot be found, it will be removed from the list". Nobody else seems to have this problem. What am I missing? Thanks for any advice.
