Does anyone have any experience of ScriptSafe? If so, what were or are your thoughts and experience of using it? Thanks. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/scriptsafe?utm_source=chrome-ntp-icon&_category=extensions
Documentation > https://www.andryou.com/scriptsafe/ I run ScriptSafe with Adguard AdBlocker extension.
Discussed in this thread - https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/html5-canvas-fingerprinting.386179/
some only want to block scripts, some like a decent ad-/script-blocker like uBo. but i would prefer uBo in both cases - it is pretty simple to reduce uBo to a script blocker and extend again if needed. script safe is bound.
@Daveski17 ask Sampei Nihira he uses both ScriptSafe and uBlock0rigin I asume he uses ScriptSafe for anti-fingerprinting (and selective script blocking) and uBlock0 for blocklists (and third party script/iframe blocking). Why not ask him about his motivation to use them together and his experience.
Lately I found ScriptSafe has been resetting back to default. I first seen this when Chrome updated to Version 61.0.3163.79 (Official Build) (64-bit). Is anyone else seeing this? The only other change in Chrome I've made lately was installing TunnelBear Blocker, which I'm really liking by the way. Maybe a conflict?
Not on my Chrome browser. ScriptSafe still retains the settings FYI, HTTPS Everywhere has been updated to 2017.9.12
Howdy. I've just recently just started using ScriptSafe for Chrome.I've been adding to my whitelist and came across the following earlier: a.files.bbci.co.uk emp.bbci.co.uk ess.api.bbci.co.uk homepage.files.bbci.co.uk m.files.bbci.co.uk mybbc-analytics.files.bbci.co.uk So, it would be more efficient, and more importantly, safe, to add **.bbci.co.uk instead of allowing all individually? Thanks.
