    Are you using this template for MB3?

    This used to work for me with version 3.05. Unfortunately, I have had little success with 3.06 so haven't tried it with that version. This template is from an earlier post near the start of this thread.

    Code:
    [Template_MB3]

    Tmpl.Title=Malwarebytes 3 Anti Exploit Component (Vista,7,8,10)
    Tmpl.Class=Security
    Tmpl.Scan=s
    Tmpl.ScanService=MBAMService
    InjectDll64=C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware\mbae64.dll
    InjectDll=C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware\mbae.dll
    OpenIpcPath=*\BaseNamedObjects*\NamedBuffer*Process*API*
    OpenIpcPath=*\BaseNamedObjects*\MBAE_IPC_PROTECTION*
    OpenIpcPath=*\BaseNamedObjects*\Mutex*Process*API*
    OpenIpcPath=*\RPC Control*\*MBAE_IPC_PROTECTION*
    OpenIpcPath=*\BaseNamedObjects*\AutoUnhookMap*
    OpenIpcPath=*\BaseNamedObjects*\mchMixCache*
    OpenIpcPath=*\BaseNamedObjects*\Ipc2Cnt*
    OpenIpcPath=*\BaseNamedObjects*\mchLLEW*

    Directories where mbae.dll and mbae64.dll have changed so you need the new one.

    Depends. If they fix all the issues found in the brief beta yes. If they just release, well.....

    Is the update coming today which, hopefully, addresses many of the current issues with v3.0.6.xxxx? I don't mean the Beta that was released already as it still does not fix the problems, but creates more issues.

    OK. My Procedure:

    1) Deactivate License.
    2) Uninstall v3.0.6 Beta with Revo Uninstaller Pro.
    3) Reboot.
    4) Install v3.0.5.
    5) Reboot.
    6) Input License and User serials.
    7) Custom scan 'C' partition.
    8.) Configure MB.
    9) Reboot to see if ALL modules stays on.
    10) Test 'Web Protection'.

    Everything, works as it should except in 'Manage Protection Applications' Edit or Remove is grayed out even for an app (Microsoft Outlook) that I have added. So funny that an older version works better than the very latest one [for me]! Sticking with this version until I know the next release does not have any issues.

    Win 10 Pro x64 Version 1607 (OS Build 14393.726)

    Will a lifetime licence for 2.2.1.1043 work for 3.0?

    I'm at a loss with the various links, is there a new version of MBAM recently on or after the projected announcement of the 22nd February?

    The 3.0.6 beta is just the old 3.0.6 with a component update built in. So I doubt there will be a new release version, but just a component update. I hope I'm wrong.

    Since the components can be updated independently a new version, per se may not be necessary.

    3.05 was running perfectly on my computer, just for fun tried installing 3.06 overtop 3.05, Malware protection wouldn't turn on. Had to uninstall and re-install 3.06, seems ok now.
