I also experienced the terrible slow and delays when launching applications. I already uninstalled the beta. Hopefully the fix this terrible bug ASAP. I really want to like this product it has everything i want in an AV product.

    Nah!
That was the 'leaked pre-alpha' of CIS9 ;)
2 months later and no word on a 'proper version'.

Anyhow let's keep on topic and hear thoughts on CCAV.

Does it have a new GUI, or is it the same as CIS?

Why not incorporate this into the security suite.

I quite like the cloud AV. It has all I need without unnecessary ballast from CIS. They just have tof ix few things:

    - the mega slowdowns (alrady confirmed and scheduled to be fixed this week)
    - on-access detection (on creation/on copy) and not just on-execution
    - registering with Windows Security Center

Other than that, it was fine.

main Products 1) Comodo Internet Security 9 (firewall pro)
    2) Comodo Cloud AV + sandbox
    3) separate sandbox Comodo (december 2015 Scheduled beta)

I believe the cloud AV will, in future, the Comodo Internet Security.

There are important implementation valkyrie into the product. https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/comodo-valkyrie-revamp.379662/

it is pure cloud av without offline signatures+it have autosandbox but nothing more. so u will have no bloat like the CIS. the cloud is diverent too. it will use Valkyre and more for the cloud part when its in final. so the detection rate would be much different from the CIS as it is now.

Ok, that hopefully means that it will be much better than it is now in detection, looking forward to it.

Man, I hope the leave it as on-execution only. The whole reason to have this simple, "basic", light AV is to be just that. There are plenty of AVs out there that scan on creation/copy.

It's not really all that much lighter and it sucks for files in transit through my system because I have to manually scan them, otherwise I'm not sure they are fine.

    Salutations, Greetings!

    > I agree with post # 20, need help in understanding?

    > So basic from the above posts, it just a secondary scanner?
    > What is opinion of the sandbox?
    > No firewall and/or would you be better with just their Comodo Firewall?

    Kind regards,
