Sorry. I thought it might be the English one as in the link is "en" but I cannot try it now as I am on my working machine. Anyway is the name of installer you got downloaded 360TS_Setup.exe ?

Thanks a lot! I was a bit confused as they speak about 5 engines.

Strange. Mine is in English. I am in Australia, could that be a factor. Try using an Aus proxy?

Hmmm. Then try to play with proxies as Iangh hinted. Sorry I can't help you more.

The 360TS icon is in the System Tray but the program isn't registering with the Windows 8.1.1 Action Center on my computer (message says: Windows Defender and 360 Total Security are both turned off). Is this the same for others?

I wonder if 360 Internet Security will be discontinued for this? Not sure it serves a purpose anymore. Also, it would seem Total Security is more cloud based than 360IS. Small installer, and it did not appear to have to download updates. Seems to only be using 75meg on the hard drive that I can find. Can't remember for certain, but I thought 360IS used 300-400meg.

Edit: Ah nevermind. I see the default doesnt install Avira/BD. Enabling those now. I wonder when using "Balanced" if it still uses those engines in the cloud, and what kind of level of protection it provides. Strange that they would have them disabled by default unless they are being used via the cloud.

I reckon they will still run the 2 in parallel. Internet Security doesn`t have features such as the Sandbox but has other stuff such as the junk cleaner.
Some fp`s (custom IE links) for now but hopefully they`ll be sorted soon. Still seems pretty light and they seem to have the full engines for both Bitdefender and Avira with the heuristics modules, etc (allthough not configurable though)...
Malicious behaviour blocking seems to work allright from my limited tests so far, but still need to throw more at it :)

Yes that's with current Update 1.

Total security doesn't have the sandbox that internet security has.

Not having a right click context menu scan is a bit of weird one, and make sure you turn off the Bootup Helper thing, it gets a bit boring after a while!
Anyone know what the Online Shopping Protection is? Also doesn`t seem to like Windows Action Center, maybe another re-boot will help...

Just replaced my Avast Pro with this and noticed a marked increase in performance.
No issues with my Windows Pro 8.1/Update 1 system at all.
Quite impressed with scan speeds aswell as memory footprint, will keep it for a bit I think.

What mode are you using it in?

    Mode?
    Install/forget......................

Actually, I did play with the sandbox and auto-sandboxed IE, FF SB on demand.
    Changed theme to black.
    That's it.

That means Avira & Bitdefender are not installed.
