i don't want to put to many details in here unless they say they want me to. but in helping get the info to joe and having him help with this issue in the way he is i am VERY VERY impressed with the support that is provided by webroot and joe especially. i am even going to look more into being able to carry webroot and be able to add them to my line up at the shop for customers.

i VERY RARELY find any av company provide this level of support to people especially with this type of issue i had. most companies either put it off on someone else like best buy or amazon etc in this situation but they are taking care of it directly which is awesome.

i hope joe see's this and knows i am very thankful we have people like him in this industry who will take the time to help. i do still support a couple other companies personally that i have dealt with for a long time but have also dropped a number of them due to the terrible support i received. and i can say webroot is NOT ONE OF THOSE.

so not to ramble on THANK YOU to joe and webroot for handling this in the manner they are which will soon be fully solved once i get joe the rest of the info and for their prompt responses and letting someone like myself help them out in this situation as much as i can. i will for sure be loading up webroot on many more pc's in my family and my office very soon.

Yeah I've also been tremendously helped by Joe and Webroot support team whenever I was trouble. I would sometimes become lazy to follow the support member's instructions and would simply ask him to remotely connect to my pc. I would then sit back and relax while the support would do their magic and fix everything. As simple as that. :):thumb:

Best Service there is - Webroot

I recently updated to 64 Bit Win 7 from 32 Bit on my desk PC (I know I'm the last person on earth to do this) & quite a few of my drawing & photo programs which are a little obscure installed the 64 bit versions - I noticed there was a fair bit of monitoring going on so I submitted all the 'Unknowns' to Webroot Support yesterday. I got a mail today saying this was sorted & the 'problem' is no more.

Not only is it by far the best service I've had with an AV company but probably with any company & over the weekend.

Not wanting to bang on too much but if you consider good after-sales service high on your list I can vouch for Webroot yet again - Thanks :D

I would absolutely agree with you.Although i have not tried WSA myself as yet.(i do intend doing so at some point),I think a product is only as good as the support it is given.
Luckily i have not had to use any form of support and i rarely if at all come across any malware, but if i do need support in the future i certainly will be thankful that it is there.:thumb:

i have to agree with you. i would NEVER have touched the old webroot from back in the day (well even just a few years ago, hey just being honest) now i can say they have some of if not the best support i have ever had and as i have said many times i deal with and have lic's to almost every av there is out there (in the us language anyway), so much so im actually looking into bringing them into my shops as a main brand. and i have not been given a SINGLE thing for me to say these things. joe did help me with the whole best buy lic situation and did help me with some lic's but i was not in anyway given anything to say anything about the program or their support. and im VERY VERY hard to please i know this and i know i can be one of those customers when my clients have issues. and they have went above and beyond...

While I agree that support is very good, this cross posting between Webroot fans is somehow embarrassing.

seriously no reason to always bash them and their users. people have the choice to say what they will will about a product and use what they want. all i have seen from you here of late is constantly bashing on webroot including the pm's you sent me. if you have a issue with it make a new thread and state what it is. i dont mean to be rude but.........

Why would you say that - The support I received over this weekend was excellent & more, if I have problems I would post those too, good service in my view deserves a thank you & that is simply what I have done - :thumb:

As I remember some months ago you announced you were no longer going to use WSA so I can only wonder why you feel the need to even post on here?

The same would apply to the few haters of the product (some of them even self proclaming not using it anymore) waiting for the latest bad test to cite or attaching their message to any bug reporting as an excuse to keep trolling. :thumbd:
