In my sig is my present setup. I would possibly like to add some type of firewall or possibly antivirus but do not want to weighed down as far as slowdowns on my laptop, Thinkpad T400 P8600 processor. Also, if possible, would loike to avoid subscription software but will consider it. Tried CIS 5.10 but it seemed to slow down my machine somewhat.

Right now though I am thinkiing about just trying Comodo FW and possibly Avast! 7 Free. Other than this, could you give me some input about what could be added that is relatively lightweight in resources and thanks.

I heard somewhere that Avast and Comodo Fw recently had stability problems together?
You can try Panda Cloud and Windows firewall for super lite protection :thumb:

You have nice, light setup. I wouldn't add anything. Most AVs an FWs would slow down your system and wouldn't give you much additional protection.
