BSOD on Windows Shut down

I've installed ESET NOD32 AV 5 beta.
I'm very satisfied with the changes that brings this 5 version.
I have a problem to report.
After installing NOD32 every time I pres the Shut down button I'm getting BSOD and computer quickly restarts itself.

This is happening if i put HIPS in Learning mode.
If it is in Automatic mode everything is OK.

P.S. Sorry for any language mistakes.

 

What OS do you have? Recently a similar problem on certain Win7 systems has been fixed (ie. the fix will be included in the next v5t build).

sorry, I didn't mention, I have that on my mind but I've forgot.

 

Now I'm getting it 5 times in a day and not only when I'm doing shut down, it can happen anytime!

Which part of NOD32 is that? (It's saying ESET Smart Security but I've never installed SS and my beta product is definitely NOD32 5 Beta!)

 

Do you still have the problem? I have nod AV 5.0 on my laptop with vista, and have the same problem. I had to remove the beta version to solve the problem.

Hi,Marcos,you said the cause of BSOD does not necessarily mean ESET is the culprit.Now it happened again to another user.So may I know is ESET the culprit now?

Same shutdown BSOD here on Win7 SP1.
Sent a dmp file to support.

 

I also confirm the BSOD while shutdown. Not everytime but most of the time.
Please tell me how to know which is the culprit of BSOD

 

I have disabled HIPS, no BSOD anymore. But the screen was never blue it was black and then the system rebooted.
So disable HIPS and the system shutdown instead of rebooting.

 

it reboots thats the main problem no matter the screen is blue or black

 

I'd suggest disabling HIPS until a new v5 build is available for the public. With recent versions I'm no loger having problems with BSOD on W7.
