    Hi,

I am trying to uninstall Beta 2 and install the new release candidate of ESET Cybersecurity for Mac. But when I try to uninstall I get the following error "the following uninstall step failed: removing finder context menu scripts. Contact the manufacturer for assistance.

Any idea how I can uninstall so I can install the latest release? Have not really uninstalled many programs from my Mac yet.

    Thanks
    Logan

    agoretsky,

Sorry but that was no help.

I have the new release but I cannot install it until I uninstall beta 2 and I cannot uninstall Beta 2 because of the error. How do I uninstall Beta 2?

    Thanks
    Logan

    Hello Logan5,

Did you have an Uninstall feature located in the Beta Install Disc that you downloaded from the beta site?

    Thank you,
    Richard

    Rmuffler,

I am not sure at this point, it may have been there. Again I do not recall what I did but was able to remove it.
