Problem detecting viruses

I need help real bad, I can't do anything without nod32 poping up with threats, of a virus. It seem that evrything on my pc has a virus so it says. I did scan with other scanners and no virus was found. I hadn't did anything or downloaded anything new it just started popuping up. what do I need to do? I have now disable it for the moment.

You've got a nasty virus ! It is strongly recommended to boot in Safe Mode and perform full scan and Clean

 

How did I manage to get this virus with nod32 installed?

 

Detection for it was added with 2570 (yesterday) . You have had the virus on your machine before ESET added definition for it

 

well, what i did was took my pc back to monday and the virus wasn't found so I updated my antivirus and I'm ever so careful cause I never had a virus

 

it would be better now to disable system restore, to avoid your being reinfected, & you may keep it disabled, if you can do without restores.

i guess, you will agree that actually system restore is a security compromise.

 

OK guys, first post....same problem.

I have just found that I have the same virus, same problem. Nod32 is updated, but when I run a scan it lists every html file as a virus. Now I booted into BARTPE and looked at the html files, and they all look ok, but the date on the files were all changed to 09/29/07.

Unfortunately I did a ghost backup on the 10/10 and both my incremental back ups have copied across these updates files. Surely there must be a way of fixing this virus, rather than Nod32 deleting every html file on my hard disk?

Following the guide I did a scan and it reports that I have 13728 threats found.....basically every html file on my hard disk....

I have sent an email to Eset....

Downloaded Kaspersky, and this seems to be doing a great job of disinfecting them....grrrr

I guess once my subscription to Eset runs out I know where I will be going....
