    Hi!
I have a problem with Eset AV and Outlook 2010. When I want to append tag to sent messages (this email is virus free...) Eset changes some special characters with some unreadable characters (I'm using Slovenian language to write messages). If I remove the tag everything goes back to normal.

Is there any configuration that I have missed or ESET doesn't support Central European encoding?

My config: ESET Nod32 AV 5.0.95.0, Windows 7, Outlook 2010, gmail account.

    Thanks for any help.

You're right, the text appended by ESET should have diacritics removed. We'll fix it in a module update.

    Thank you for quick response.

Just to clarify: the problem is not in appended text (I use English version of EAV and appended text looks OK) but in a message body which gets changed when EAV text is appended.

For now I will disable adding a tag and wait for module update.

    Thanks again!

I just installed 5.2.9.1 version of Nod32 AV and the problem still exists. Do you know if this will be fixed in v.5 or in v.6?

This is not going to be changed. I forgot that it was a local distributor's decision to use accented characters at the cost of them being displayed improperly when an email uses a different code page.
