Update Module not current

As per Ron's post here >

His uploaded modules show the Update Module at 1029 (20090623)
Mine, however is at 1028 (20090302) in Help > About.
Should I be concerned or just wait for several other updates to pass to see if the module has updated correctly.
Have advanced update settings to offer program updates.

Test Mode has never been enabled, as I had no use for it.

 

So that explains the discrepancy.

 

Meaning ? That without test mode enabled I won't be able to fetch module updates as quickly ? I do not want Beta-anything, btw.

Test Mode enabled, Marcos - fetched 19433 Kb's of info, what that exactly is I do not know.
Update Module has been brought to current. Should I leave this feature on as default, please.

It's up to you whether you want to download beta modules or not.

 

No, I do not want Beta Modules, which begs the question. Those not running test mode will not get program modules updated as quickly ?
Test Mode off, then and I will patiently wait as others do.
