Excellent PE - It will pull your bacon out of the fat.

 

May be I'm a bit dummy, I'm not able to fid the English version of the Site. Can I install the WinPe in an USB Pen drive ? How ?

 

There is a portable UltraIso and 2 jpg inside the rar file, explaining how to use it to copy the 4.5 GB iso in a USB

I'm not sure it's appropriate to discuss this. Sergei Strelec is illegal, and full of cracked/stolen software. If you want a custom PE rescue disk it's best to build on yourself.

 

I think it's not, we all know this. Some here are not saints definitely I'm not.

For those with brains and motivation and what not.

I think it was @Peter2150 who told me years ago now that it being a PE such as it was (quick loading too) that he transferred his copy of ShadowProtect to it and was simpler for him. I have no idea. With all the softs on it i only wanted something at the time i could copy Drive Snapshot on so that i could do an OffLine restore. It was a success. I doubt i even bothered with any other other programs on it except i could reach a dead or nonfunctioning Windows and overwrite directly a saved reg backup copy to the registry which miraculously allowed me to finally get into the GUI and sort other things out.

That said, i still use the old copy of this PE and it works as always whenever needed.

 

This is certainly what I use it for. The software is nice but for me it is the quick access to the HDD/SDD without Windows in the way. I own the programs I really want/use anyway.

 

I can't say about Sergei Strelec WinPE, but may be someone remember old Hiren's Boot versions, that had many no freeware programs, like Partition Magic; one day Hiren's removed them.

"AnkhTech" is similar spiced with illegal activated software, no doubt. if not needed then unplug net before usage. some of them are calling home.

for me i prefer my own created iso files for ventoy. one for each software, i never build a winpe

Since i haven't looked yet does the newest release include Hasleo?

 

Not yet... it probably hasn't been brought to Sergei's attention.

 

It's a fairly intensive project from the functions that are well placed in it. For me it's a reasonable fast loading PE, and the ease of use in tapping into the Windows partitions for review or corrections/repairs. I use to use my own personal copy of Drive Snapshot before these others higher powered Imagers turned my preference to their products exclusively. Hasleo would be a nice addition if the DEVS ever decide to portablelize it.

However the HASLEO UFD Emergency Disk works great. The same with Strelec PE.
