Hello. New Ewido trial user here, refered by a tech forum.

My PC (XP Pro) has "Rootkit.Agent.1" in my Administrator files.

Ewido finds and cleans it, but teh Rootkit "rebuilds itself" every bootup.

Any suggestions for a permanent fix?

Thank you very much. If there's a fix, you have a buyer!!

Have you tried scanning in safe mode?

lol, sounds someone is desperate :D ..
    install CCleaner :
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
then reboot and go into SafeMode : http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm
let CCleaner run and clean all remnants/reg entries/...
Then, while in Safe Mode .. let an updated Ewido fix/clean what it finds .. then let CCleaner run one more time and then reboot into normal mode .. let Ewido run one more time and then it would be interesting to see the results
