Bork Tuesday, Any Problems Yet?

    Yup through Windows update from our WSUS server. Have had three machines fail so far. Not good lol. I am trying with an ISO right now on someone's desktop, will keep you posted. Also want to look at this link you sent. Thanks!

    0xC1900101 is a generic rollback code
    0x40017 concerns software, could be anything

    be sure, before upgrading to 24H2, that BIOS and ALL drivers are update date, drivers from vendor at first place, not MS or from anywhere.

    and be sure that your machine is able to run 24H2, so meets the requirements, no hacks!

    i do not upgrade this machine until the most bugs are fixed.

    No problems updating W10, W11 in the process, its just slow.

    Did my Windows 10 preview update this morning.. no issues

    Checked for updates on my Win 11 23H3 (Defender etc) and grabbed a drink while they were doing them.

    I wondered why Win 11 was taking so long and when I looked properly :)oops:) it was because it was downloading and installing 24H2

    At this early stage, all seems well with 24H2 but it's only been a couple of hours :D
