Thanks. I have done something similar already using gpedit.msc. I have disabled windows updates completely, and disabled drivers from installing during windows updates. I did this last Wednesday, but these drivers are still installing daily.

Searching for a solution myself I rediscovered (I had forgotten) that Windows downloads updates to the folder "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\" before installing them. I checked this folder and there were three files inside it with cryptic names. I assume these are the three driver files that are being installed over and over, so I have deleted them. Lets hope this solves the issue. I will report back if the issue persists. Thanks for helping!

Same here. Only the Preview patch, this time without .NET update.

    No issues after installing KB5022906.
For Win 11 the update is KB5022905.

I just got KB5022913. It came with this awesome search box. Who is this for? Who wants this? Fortunately it can be turned off.

Today Windows Update is showing "Windows 11, versions 22H2 is ready--and it's free!" with a "Download and install" button.

This is on my 10+ years old Windows 10 PC which hardware (CPU, BIOS) is not supported by Windows 11...

(I'm making an additional Reflect image of my SSD right now and might click on the button then to see what happens)

It downloaded about 8% and then started an Application (Setup?) with the title "This PC doesn't currently meet Windows 11 system requirements" which lists these reasons:
    • The processor isn't supported for this version of Windows
    • The PC must support TPM 2.0
    • The PC must support Secure Boot
(The only possible action is clicking the "Close" button).

Haha. Just messing around. I will wait until next month. Been running stable builds for awhile now and plan to keep it that way. If I had a test machine I would check it out maybe.

@XIII I wasn't offered to upgrade on Win 11 even not when checking updates manually which is correct I think as my comp doesn't meet the requirements for Win 11.

Not that I would share in public. That said Release Preview is 't very Insider, it usually isn't more than 2 weeks before it goes to general release.
