    Just a question.
    I've been testing a new browser - Catsxp. It has a lot of potential, but I can't open it in Sandboxie.
    https://www.catsxp.com/
    Any ideas?
    Thank you in advance.

    Go to - Resource access > Direct access. First, add the program then, add files/folders of it.

    @zmechys

    Add this to your config:
    Code:
    SpecialImage=chrome,catsxp.exe

    Code:
    SpecialImage=chrome,catsxp.exe
    Where did you get that special setting @busy
    Is it special in the first place?
    I can't find any documentation...

    I hope @DavidXanatos adds this to [Template_SpecialImages] in Templates.ini

    @Mr.X
    Code:
    added "SpecialImage=chrome,some_electron_app.exe" option to sandboxie.ini, valid image types "chrome", "firefox"
    -- with this option you can enable special hardcoded workarounds to new obscure forks of those browsers

    https://github.com/sandboxie-plus/Sandboxie/releases/tag/v0.5.3b
    or
    Code:
    Templates.ini

    There will come a simpler handling: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/new-box-creation-wizard-for-1-7-0-or-so.449445/

    I've tried but to no avail.
    YES!!!
    It's a very promising browser and updated regularly.
    It's extremely fast (for me/for my computer/Internet settings - I've reached 1.2 GB speed)

    I'm seeing Edge "Not Responding" with 1.6.3

    I have no problem here with Edge and 1.6.3
    Do you have it on all boxes or just a specific one?

    My Edge sbox. Edge 'Not Responding' is random.
    Probably, just me.

    OK, this error has returned since first install of 1.6.2 (at least but can't be sure) and is now appearing daily, about 2-3x per day, in Event Viewer. I'd reported this before and received good info from @bo elam and this issue relaxed and went away at that time. Now it returns. Is anyone else getting this? I get it w/both versions here (1.6.2 and .3). I have a security-hardened sandbox.

    The below link is the only post about this on here, it seems. Next to nothing online except an old post in the Sophos/Sandboxie forums. If it can be "ignored" OK, then but I'd rather any security-related errors be addressed. Thanks.

    Saw this in the changelog at github but did not see it out yet:
    [1.6.4 / 5.61.4] - 2022-12-30
    I wouldn't mind it as a New Years present :)

    @Mr.X At least in my Windows 11 VM, it works fine without that setting.
