    Try also as:
    ||.gb_fa
    ||.gb_g
    Maybe work, maybe not because google use random names for those annoyances.
    --------------
    If you don't have it already, install the AdGuard Annoyances filter

    I did the update a little while ago. New browser feels decent. For me is a big gain switching from old Edge to new Edge as I did not use old Edge. This version I might be able to use it sometimes.

    Can we get rid of the Profile icon, if yes, how?

    Edge is not Chrome. Perhaps you cant see the forest because of the tree:

    Sin título.jpg

    An example: In Edge, you can install extensions to download videos from YouTube. In Chrome, Google doesn't allow you to do it.

    Quit busting my chops.

    Besides, I got to have Edge. Having it or not having is not my choice. Is forced upon us. Old Edge was totally useless for me since I couldnt use NoScript or run it sandboxed. With the new Edge, I can use NoScript and use SBIE. The change is big improvment for me. In old Edge, in two and a half year since I got my W10, I only visited one site other than the one that was set as default when I first got the computer. I visited 10 sites already today using new MS Edge. So, dont try to annoy me. You cant.

    Also, in case you haven't noticed. This browser looks prettier. Is more square, not curvy with ugly Google Chrome colors. It has a nice soft silver. My color, my kind of shape for tabs. I like it.

    I don't have the Menu bar, the bookmarks sidebar window or tabs on the bottom, but is OK. I can live with it, and might even like it after a short while.

    Whats the new Edge-version of Google Chrome's Strict-Site-Isolation? Is it Strict-Origin-Isolation?

    I'd be interested in an extension to download Youtube videos - what are you using?

    So this means that you won't get to see any history of visited links, and no M$ news site if you scroll to the bottom? Seems like this is probably only available on newer versions of Edge, because I don't see this in v75.

    I am not using anything or looked for anything. I usually download videos without an extension. When I have to use an extension, I install it sandboxed temporarily in Firefox, and delete it when I finish. But thats what I read in one of the links posted in this thread in page 1 or 2. Probably some extensions of this type will become available soon since they are being allowed.

    Old Edge is sandboxed by default as it runs in AppContainer.

    Thats exactly why I cant use old Edge. W10 Apps are not compatible with Sandboxie because of AppContainer. They cant be run under Sandboxie. This is one of the reasons I dont use Apps at all, I use programs only.

    Perhaps you trust AppContainer, I trust Sandboxie. I know my computer will not get infected not matter what I do as long as I do it under Sandboxie. Thats the trust Sandboxie has earned from me after using it for 11 years and nothing ever bypassing it. I know if I get hit or click to install malware while running sandboxed, more likely than not, it wont even run, it will just sit in the sandbox and do absolutely nothing, and it it tries to run, is likely it will fail. And if it gets to run, probably will not install, but if it installs and infects, the infection is contained within the sandbox not touching your system. Thats the sandbox Sanboxie has

    But let me ask you. What happens if you are using old Edge, and get hit by ransomware, your AV doesnt do nothing, and you click to install it? What happens to your system? Does the system gets infected or not? If you are using Sandboxie, you don't get infected. How about with old Edge? Can AppContainer isolate your system from an infection, from an infected program you clicked to install? Sandboxie protects you, how about AppContainer?

    I like the way old Edge feels and looks, unfortunately is not a program. Thats why I cant use it.

    I cant use new Edge either. Its OK for one day, but no more. It looks decent, feels decent, Sandboxie and NoScript work fine with it but I would be very uncomfortable using it every day (no bookmarks, side bar).

    I completely agree. I need sandboxie! SBIE paired with a RAM disk is essential on my PC, no matter what. That's why I cannot use the Windows 10 mail app, instead having to use MailBird.

    For starters, I never install programs anymore. I've felt that using AppContainer with MBAE has made my life a lot easier. Sandboxie often breaks during major Windows 10 updates, AppC never breaks as it's a part of Windows 10.

    As to what would stop it? Anti-ransomware on Windows 10 would stop it.

    See, you suggest that's better to use AppContainer than Sandboxie, and do it even though you know that Sandboxie contains better. Sandboxie doesn't need Anti ransomware on Windows for protection against ransomware. Perhaps you like using WD and everything that comes with it. I am OK with that, but I am the opposite. I disable WD and everything that comes with WD. I as you, I am entitled to using what I want without being told, "Don use SBIE, you are better off using old Edge with AppContainer".
    Thats your choice. I accept your choice. But realize that there are people like myself who feel different than you about Apps. I dont use any, and if my choice is to run only programs, you shoul be OK with that.
    Thats a rumor spread by people who don't use Sandboxie.

    Happens fairly regularly to me, and I used Sandboxie for the past 15 years or so until I promptly gave up and decided I'm safe enough as it is without it.

    I've installed the new Edge. I can't say whether I like it or not, the only thing I've noticed is its speed: Chrome and Brave are slightly faster loading pages. What about security? Is the new Edge better than Chrome in terms of security?

    Questions for those who had made the change:

    Is there any difference getting the extension from the MS Store or the Chrome Web Store? Can you mix them? IE, some from MS Store and some from Chrome store?

    Thanks.

    No luck man but it's cool. Not a huge deal to me. I do have the AdGuard Annoyances filter already.
