With the exception of Zonealarm, recently on my Windows 7 Pro system I'm not able to block my internet connection. Initially I was using Privatefirewall. I know the app isn't any longer supported so I assumed that was the culprit. Then I installed other firewalls including Comodo. While I can block application access, I can't stop access to the internet. I checked for malware with many different apps and I none were found. Somewhere something became corrupt. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to reset my Windows firewall configuration settings to default settings? Also, is there a free firewall manager that just functions as an internet "kill switch"?

Is it the same issue as in your older/august thread? https://www.wilderssecurity.com/thr...s-not-being-blocked-with-an-exception.406901/
It was stated in this thread that Zonealarm uses a network adapter miniport filter driver. Sounds to me that uninstalling Zonealarm didn't remove the network adapter miniport filter driver. You can verify if the filter is still installed by opening up your network adapter settings and see if anything referring to Zonealarm or miniport filter is present:
