Where exactly did you download the package? From your logged in account?

From Avira website I downloaded the free version and activate it using HBEDV.key (3 years, 1 year and something left)

This flow (key file) is intended only for legacy business deployments - Try logging in to your account at https://my.avira.com and from there go to subscriptions -> install

This will download a package that is preconfigured for your account.

Every ".exe" from Avira installation folder wants to connect to internet (more than 16 active connections at any given time)

Do you know the domain names? Sometimes they are telling about what service it is they provide.

I meant 1.2.115.14232. Sorry about that.

When does the auto update usually kicks in?

I've installed Avira Free on 6-10-2018 (that package came with 1.2.115.14232) and as of now there still hasn't been any auto update.

I have re-installed Avira Pro after a month and half hiatus due to functionality glitches with the October update of Win 10 v. 1809, and everything works as advertised, including the notorious bug with the updater... Good work Avira...

Why? If someone needs the 3 products, it's cheaper to buy the TSS than each product separately.

I paid less for my Win 7 /64 OS, which I used it for 10 years, free update to Win10, antivirus integrated into it , Defender 100% AV Comparatives.

    Very good for you.

But here in Avira's thread, we are talking for the price of TSS vs Antivirus Pro+System Speedup Pro+Phantom VPN Pro or we compare apples and oranges?

What I am trying to say is , regardless of what it is in the bundle, the the price is unrealistically high.

I agree and that's why I'm using the Antivirus Pro only, but I have to point also that most of the paid VPN services are quite expensive.

many other VPNs have lifetime licenses for less than 100 USD. VPN with better features than Avira. I can buy a VPN for life and look for a good offer for Avira on the web and it will be much cheaper.

Maybe it's cheaper to buy the combo than the three separate products but honestly neither the optimizer nor the vpn are worth it, there are better options including free (many wise optimizer options for example) or windscribe lifetime license.
