The "issue" is that WSA has repeatedly tested much weaker than other tested AVs with respect to scripts & exploits -- see THIS thread, especially HERE. With this change WSA is partially remedying a situation that shouldn't have existed in the first place. In which case, the sooner this fix gets promulgated, the better.
I teach seminars to seniors monthly. Many of them have older, less speedy computers. For those folks, I have been recommending WSA. I am dismayed to learn that this forum regards WSA subscribers as involuntary "testers"! I am now in process of advising those folks using WSA to switch to Panda Dome -- equally light but much more efficient in updating.

Don't get me wrong. I still regard WSA as the King of non-sig-based protection. IMO, however, WSA needs to move faster in getting its engine more capable of dealing with post-PREVX malware developments such as scripts & exploits.

But WSA will deal with Exploits as it has always done if the Exploit tries to download a payload then WSA will jump on it with it's realtime shield.

    https://community.webroot.com/t5/Ideas-Exchange/exploit-protection/idi-p/286089

But now they are working on an Anti-Exploit for WSA and again no timetable.

Excellent news! "No timetable" = taking the time needed to get it right. Yessirree. But -- once it's right -- please get it out ASAP -- it's been a long wait.

Per TH, version 9.0.23.32 was released September 11th, 2018. I'm still on 9.0.21.18, 4 days later. Am I the only 1 or is this generally the case?

I have 23.32 here; I'm surprised. Maybe it's because I just rebooted the PC this morning? I certainly didn't do anything else that I know of that upgraded my Webroot.

I am having a problem finding where in webroots interface is the log file for blocking a network connection.

I got an alert on first boot in the morning for wow64/consent but i cannot find if that is the correct path to figure out what it is.
    I blocked it

I googled for consent in the dir wow64 comes up with generic answers for other things so the search terms must be too general.

So where is it located? ( either in the interface or a log text file)

Not sure, but I wouldn't worry about it.

Also Type 0 Monitoring means nothing.

The webroot filtering extension for chrome does not seem to be working.
