Incoming connections are prohibited, everything looks correct. This is typical official traffic.
Perhaps someone more literate will respond more correctly.

I do not claim to know it all.... but without seeing the ports and type of traffic on the blocks, it is impossible to know the reason. It could be a network pc, printer or just the router multicast or something else.

It can even be a connection of Windows Media Player, most of the time I completely disable it in Windows Components (I'm using MPC-HC).

Yes, from the modem to your computer.

I think that this is not software. If you have any server installed, then variants are possible, but I still think that this is traditional service traffic.

Do you have any devices on your PC that are UPNP like a printer that could be shared on the network? I turned off UPNP on my modem/router long ago and never see any traffic on that port. I only see blocks in my log on port 1900 in mine. That doesn't make sense to me either since I have UPNP off and have disabled every bit of file sharing as well as setting my network to PUBLIC.

Do you have wifi enabled on your router? If so, please check that there is not any other devices connected by wifi.

EDIT: If no wifi, I would run a scan with Malwarebytes to make sure it is not something else going on here.

Check this topic which presents a similar situation.
This is a good one :) Windows Firewall also block everything. The question was why these connections exists, not how to block them.
Only if Windows Updates try to create new firewall rules. Usually, not, so I don't think Secure Rules will interfere with Windows Updates.

Would WFC alert me during Windows Updates install that do not require restart or for updates that require restart....with machine restart during updates configuration or likely upon machine restart reaching desktop?

I am not sure I understand your questions(s). Why would WFC alert you when you install Windows Updates? Most of Windows Updates are installed during shutdown or Windows startup.

Just wondering if I should proactively disable Secure Rules running Windows Updates. I ran stand-alone Windows Update installer and my Start Menu nor calendar display.
Granted, Windows Update problem probably unrelated to WFC.
Just wondering if n' when WFC will alert if Windows Updates try to create new firewall rules.
FWIW ~ I've had updates thru Windows Updates that install wo requiring machine restart.

    granted, you wrote
"don't think" sounds "iffy".... Just me.

CCAV was installed but not running. I checked Processes, Services etc. And Autoruns. I may have missed something. :) Anyway, after I totally Uninstalled CCAV the Install of the new version went without a hitch. Not sure if I will reinstall CCAV or not :) I have ther AVs and was just testing it.

You will never be notified by WFC if Windows Updates try to create new firewall rules or any other program. This kind of alerts were never shown and the same is with the new Secure Rules. Maybe it sounds "iffy" because I have Windows Updates disabled. As a developer, I can tell you what Secure Rules feature is supposed to do. I can't know the result of all Windows Updates scenarios, all programs that may fail to install, etc. So, yes, my answer is "iffy" :) I don't even mean what this word mean, but it sounds "iish".

I hated the latest version. (5.1)
    windows 10
settings: medium filtering - display notifications
I have many browsers and programs like connectify
    I allowed all
    it works
after shut down windows and restart all the permissions gone and I have to allow them again

I specifically allowed all components of connectify and I cannot get a wireless connection at all when set to medium filtering.
I have to set it to no filtering in order to have wireless connection from my laptop to mobile phone

I even deleted all the entries in the firewall rules and restarted fresh

I then allow the browsers and connectify and others
    - browsers access to the internet then, but blocked after restart the pc. and I have to allow them one by one again until next boot up.
-As for the Connectify: no internet access from my mobile phone unless I change the filtering to "no filtering"

I am seriously thinking of going back to previous version I have had no problem at all

I have noticed that if you leave the connections log open for a bit of time, the whole WFC will become unresponsive. Here are the settings I have set when viewing it.

Maybe someone can help me with this question. I've read all the threads and I'm still confused. I've experimented with two versions of WFC. One, Windows Firewall Control 4.8.6.0, "always" gives me true pop-up notifications
whenever a program needs outgoing network connectivity. The other, Windows Firewall Control 5.1.0.0, "sometimes" (also previous versions) gives a pop-up notification, which leaves me scratching my head as to why something that
needs outbound connectivity is not getting it. (printer ect...)
Question...What's the benefit of updating if the newer versions for the last year or so seem not to do what 4.8.6.0 does very well and the newer versions seem to have broken?
    What am I missing?
    Thanks

Yes in my modem UPnP is enabled and cannot be disabled.
Is that the origin of all these attempts??
    Thanks
    (reg owner of WFC)
