You're quite right, hehe. I switched to another location Opera's VPN, it worked. Now Slim is shown there. LOL
No slim build here, either. I don't really mind because I have been using the portable version of CCleaner for a couple of months.
Must be the server being accessed, still no-go here. But I have been using portable, PortableApps.com version now.
Are the people who cannot see the slim build using Windows Defender? https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds
No, ESET Endpoint Security is in charge instead and I see there only the Installer and Portable builds.
OK it must be some other variable then. Perhaps only people who already have the slim build installed can see it on the builds page?
I believe @Mister X had already confirmed that it is a Regional blockage by switching location on his VPN. But why? That is the question. I don't know why they are blocking certain countries from downloading Slim build.
Although I used to see the Slim version, I no longer see it. What's going on? No Windows Defender, here.
No problem here seeing and downloading it (the slim version) (although I still use an older version), using IE11 on Win7 with Eset, no VPN. Version 5.40.115.6411 - slim version - ccsetup540_slim.exe Checksums: MD5 - 68E35C15202ABFB13CDA313DAF34FE81 SHA-160 - CD44CC91AE2D780D54DFBC015509C3DFA418E525 SHA-256 - 1FE4908DD2018DBC480DE1AFF69A21FA69142E4E11F73FD10B9C86488B373362
Like FanJ, also in the Netherlands, but not seeing Slim build offered on CCleaner Builds page. However, if I search the CCleaner site for Slim, I get ccsetup540_slim.exe offered for download and download is successful. Using IE11 on Windows 7 x64 with G Data, no VPN, installed CCleaner version is 5.21.
It is difficult to say if this regional issue is intentional or potentially something has gone with the way in which their various CDN's distribute the content. Certainly quite odd, though. Personally, I prefer the Portable build anyhow.
Me too and if portable is not available either, I can always extract CCleaner64.exe/CCleaner.exe from the latest Standard installer and drop it in my existing portable folder...
Looks like they may have fixed it. https://forum.piriform.com/topic/51...load-link/?page=2&tab=comments#comment-293381
Hm... not really. All I see is the standard build and the portable version (which I use), but still no slim version. Strange.
