Free online computer scans

I have been using ESET online scanner (full computer scan), for quite some time. The advantage with ESET is that it does a full scan of the computer without downloading and installing anything. Are there any other online scaners similar to ESET? I have searched the Internet but all those that I found want me to download and install the application. I am looking for online scanners that work without downloading and installing things in my computer-like ESET.

There are many, 2 of the best would be Malwarebytes and Emsisoft Emergency Kit.

 

Malwarebytes is not portable.

HitmanPro is a cloud scanner, just like Norton Power Eraser, both great, but not "portable".

 

Don't you get an option whether to install HMP or just scan once? NPE doesn't install either.

 

You can run a scan with HMP without installing it. You get a 30 day trial, so you can remove anything it finds too.

Folks, OP is looking for On-Line Scanners. Anything DLed - even is portable is not = on-line scanner. Certainly there are limits to them and installs or portables are usually much better and thorough.

Herd Protect not available. Same message for months - RSN (Real Soon Now).

 

He is looking for portable online scanners (working offline is only an advantage). Emsisoft only downloads the newest signatures to the folder, where it unpacked.

 

You can't download it, but if you have older installer saved somewhere you can install and use it. It still connects to their server and preforms scans on your system.
