How do we De-Link on this forum?

Hey everyone,

I want to follow the forum rules just as everyone else. It has been mentioned to me a bunch of times over the past few months to De-Link links to point to direct downloads. However, anytime that I have specifically used Wilders' Security Forum built-in De-Link option, it does not work. I've tried to De-Link option about a dozen times in the past with zero luck.

Is there a special trick that we can do to De-Link? What is the best recommended method to achieve this?

You can use [PLAIN]-tags

If you write it like this: [PLAIN]https://www.wilderssecurity.com[/PLAIN]
it will be de-linked:
= https://www.wilderssecurity.com

In addition other formats can be used (bold, italic, underline, colors,...), place it before and after the [PLAIN]-tag:
(You can also use the Rich Text Editor: Mark your link including(!) the [PLAIN]-tags and click on the format you want to use)
