Is AGFW 6 compatable with mbam 3 with web, exploit, malware, and ransomware real time protection turned on.
As a temporary solution (until next version release) we'll disable Assistant for outlook.com. Updated Assistant version should be available soon.
hi can i add a custom list in adguard for firefox? www.****lists.disconnect.me/simple_malware.txt ? how can i do it? thanks
@avatar Decided to enable TCP fast open on Edge and afterwards my laptop crashed. I tried to look for info, and I noticed that there was thread at the Adguard forum that indicated it was an issue with Adguard's WFP driver. So, my question is since Microsoft is planning to enable TCP fast open by default, will there be a possible fix? Disabling the WFP driver will essentially make Adguard unable to filter ads on Edge.
I hope issues like this will finally make Adguard team believe that WFP compatibility is long overdue. I hope the Feb. release (rough ETA) comes with the fix, although from the looks of it, it seems it will still not be going to be part of the release.
Actually, Edge crashing is a new issue, in previous version enabling TCP Fast Open just made it impossible to filter such sockets. I hope MS will fix it as TCP Fast Open has compatibility issues with WFP as a whole, not just with AG.
I like adguard but cannot use it as I found it has a throughput limitation. When it is on my 600Mbps+ connection gets throttled back to around 300-400Mbps. I think it's their firewall driver and I tried all of the settings as a workaround and none changed the limitation.
I use easyprivacy and Fanboy enhanced tracking list, besides the malvertising list do you know any other list that just block tracking and not ads?
Malvertising includes Peter Low's list, so it also blocks most mainstream adservers. I prefer Malvertising list plus Privacy list of Adguard. Those two have well maintained list with some dead wood, but a lot less than others (you need some manpower to maintain it) Adding all those list adds up the number of websites blocked, but they only IMO add very little real life protection because of all the dead websites (community lists tend to grow and pollute with dead websites). The DNS list of Adguard is also well maintained (better than original Adblock list)
Which one of these filters can I deactivate - english, spyware, social media, annoyances, easylist, easyprivacy, fanboy's enhanced tracking list, malware domains, peter lowe's list
The problem with the disconect lists is that are based on domains while these ones: EasyPrivacy (forums.lanik.us): Fanboy’s Enhanced Tracking List (forums.lanik.us): Are based on rules to avoid tracking so I guess it will be much more effective Which one is the adguard privacy list? I can't find it here https://adguard.com/en/filters.html Is the spyware filter?
from what I have found if I enable too many filters, I get a red warning telling me to disable some or my browsing experience can slow down.
