What kind of Keyboard are you using? I have heard some are having slowdowns such as this with Microsoft keyboards and Webroot is working on it and it has something to do with the ID Shield and the MS Keyboard Driver so if you would like to test disable the ID Shield and report back with your findings!

    Thanks,

    Daniel ;)

But they are actively trying to fix the cause and was just talking to some that are working on the issue. It has to do with the ID Shield and when they fix it they have to make sure they don't brake it's great protection. I have slow issues at times on my Alienware laptop and they said it's the same issue with the ID Shield so it is wide spread and they are on it.

Sorry wish I had better news.

Thanks and I don't expect nothing less from WSA's Identity Shield as it was Joe's new toy with Prevx 3 (SafeOnline) near the time Webroot Acquired Prevx in Nov 2010 and WoW almost 6 years have gone by since Webroot has gone big with WSA!

    Thanks,

    Daniel :)

The last few days I've been reading some of the old posts in the "Archived Prevx Support Forum" here on Wilders. Brought back old memories of Joe. I really miss Him. It seemed like Joe never slept, always helping people with problems any time of the day or night.

He still has a contract with Webroot if they need something done as Joe knows the code so well and he is a Genius. I chat with him a few times a year and it's still his baby. ;) Awesome guy he is!

Is anyone else getting some weirdness with steam games and the control active processes feature? What I usually do when there's a new game that just came out is go in and hit allow straight away, but with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Webroot isn't seeing the executable process at all. Furthermore, it's showing other processes as active which haven't been running for some time.

If you feel there is an issue Submit a Support Ticket and ask them and they will look into it for you to see if there are any issues and correct it.
