Hope not. There were even some hopes of somehow integrating features of SOB IIRC?

Of course ERP is already abandonware. It's a shame.

Its still being sold by its original author with recent, reliable, reports of active development, and you consider it abandonware?

ERP is still a very good software to use although the update delay for long long time.

Maybe ERP can join Secure Folders too. Both seems didn't receive updates for eons....

I donated money and received my license at the end of March 2014. Almost two years ago. There have been zero updates since then. I won't waste my money on any of their software again.

NVT ERP is brilliant security soft, but contrary to what some might say - there have been various bugs - since other softs are constantly changing and affect ERP.

At this point it is need of an update.

    ERP is NVT's best soft.

If it isn't actively improved then users will slowly, but surely, migrate away from it... and then it becomes abandoned.

I agree. Don't let this great software down to drain.

Sorry I feel exactly the same.
I have 'multiple paid licenses' for ERP.

I loved this software so much, I got involved with giving feedback and ideas to the developer.

But, due to recent lack of development, I am one of those users who stopped using ERP.

It's sad, because Andreas is super talented at what he does, but I just get the feeling that his heart isn't in it anymore.

Maybe the problem with ERP is the number of users... Sometimes I wonder if the people talking here are the only ones using this software...

I hope SOB one day will be mature and user friendly enough to one day replace ERP. At the moment, ERP has bugs, well one that I encounter often and to be honest it is testing patience. I understand they have a small team, but a maintenance fix every so often should not be a problem, if they can afford to develop SOB.

    regards.

Curious, for those who've abandoned ERP, what other Antiexecutable are you using? and what features does it have.

This is the main reason I don't like donationware, ever. If we the customers must pay, okay lets pay. Vast majority of us spend money in dumb useless things at some point in our daily lives. Spending money in an excellent piece of software like ERP is something good for me and in the long run for all us the users.
Now, what happened? My theory is Andreas turn to the enterprise market and now making money with SOB, is a good thing I don't criticize that negatively but all us ordinary mortal citizens were left apart. OTOH we are free testing labs for devs as we continuously report bugs or new features for ERP we would want to see. Now, what happened next? SOB came into scene and I think it's a better product to sell into corporate world, then ERP became abandonware.

I second this opinion. I'm eager to know as well...

For home user, there is no equivalent alternative; all alternatives are not nearly as user friendly nor as secure.

I'm aware of a few bugs reported that has not been fixed, but I don't think it will be abandoned. I hope I don't end up eating those words.

Guys's I don't think it's been abandoned, but why all they flapping about. No license issues, I have the current installer, it works on Win 10, so I can use it for years before it's an issue. No worry.

Same over here, I will use it for years to come, unless something better comes up. But I can understand the disappointment about the lack of development. ERP still needs a couple of finishing touches. And I do not understand why they developed less user friendly tools like SOB, when they could have perfected ERP.

VS is cool, but ERP is much simpler, and that's what I prefer.

ERP is indeed much more efficient to the end user operator in that accessing controls and adjusting/adding to LISTS easily saves time by a simple BROWSE or button press and it's automation feeds that user selected input into a solid RULE after scanning. Another best part which is of special benefit for me personally is the ALERTS can also become AUDIO effects. Always been big on such alert tones that accompany the trigger pop up.

NVT ERP is absolutely one of the very best security softs available. That is a fact.

    I hope on-going development continues.

Agreed. I truly believe Andreas has stopped due to financial reasons. What else? Money runs the world! lol
ERP could go shareware, I'm willing to pay for this true champion of anti-executables.

If so, why is he making new freeware products?
