Some time ago I read in a forum that nVidia graphics cards were affected by a bug, that limited the level RGB to 16-235 instead of 0-255....and to solve the problem you had to run a small corrective fix.
Well, I need to know if this bug has been fixed or not? ....... because I just installed a new nVidia graphics card (GTX 750Ti-) and now I don't know if I have to apply the fix or not .. ..

This was not a "bug". It was a design decision to set the range at 16 - 235 when connecting a TV or monitor via HDMI to ideally support HDTV content. It did not affect DVI. I have not heard any problems relating to this is several years. NVIDIA did eventually add the option in Control Panel to set the full range.

First of all thank you very much for the quick response! :)
You're right I said that badly, is not a real bug, and also is present only on HDMI connection (which is what I need!)
Really?... then there is a dedicated parameter in the driver control panel? ..... where exactly?
However, the fix I was saying is this: http://blog.metaclassofnil.com/?p=83

And if you check the date of that "fix", it is from 2012. I don't see it the Control Panel of my only system that uses NVIDIA - but then I am not using HDMI on that system so it may not be enabled. Or it may not be an option with current NVIDIA drivers since it appears to no longer be an issue. And I say that because I see no current complaints.

Why do you believe you "need" this?

If you connect your monitor via HDMI, it might be set to 16-235 which is improper for a desktop environment.

eeehh...... because unfortunately my monitor (Dell S2340L) only has Hdmi and VGA connections, but not DVI :(

however, as I understand it, the fix is no longer necessary now, because it is possible to set the range of RGB level directly from the driver control panel......it's right?
