I almost never use FF, but these are the extensions that I installed to make FF usable:

Just a thought: there's an Adblock subscription that replicates the function of "I don't care about cookies". The name is preback, and is on the Known Adblock List:

Cool, didn't know about this, do you know how to make this work with ABP inside Opera 12.17? I get an error when I try to activate it. And the ones responsible for this "cookie alert hell" over here in Europe should serve some serious jail-time for annoying millions of people. BTW, I really miss an extension like DownloadHelper for Opera (and other browsers), it's awesome.

I get: "The address type is unknown or unsupported".

I think I will need to contact the developer.

I've switched back to Firefox, so here's my list:
    1. Policeman - Chuckle-worthy play on words for a name, but it's basically NoScript + RequestPolicy combined, only better. Also comparable to uMatrix for Chrome; all features you'd expect and very powerful. If or when we get uMatrix for Firefox, I might switch over just because uMatrix is visually simpler to use and easier to maintain; however, this one does everything uMatrix can do and more in terms of request filtering.
    2. uBlock₀ - For visual ad blocking only.
    3. Self-Destructing Cookies - Personal preference really... I'd still be okay to have cookies clear on shutdown, but now I can do it on tab close; can also clear cache and local storage; works without fail.
    4. Better Privacy - Removes flash cookies (LSOs, super cookies) instantly; just more cookie management.
    5. Referrer Control - Never want sites knowing possibly revealing referrers, so I set it to target domain and all is well (and private).
    6. HTTP UserAgent Cleaner (dev) - Provides incredible control over almost all security-related options. Think of a true http switchboard on steroids. Ability to disable or modify cookies, font/plugin enumeration, all headers, canvas, etag, images, referrer, SSL/TLS to name a few. It's now on v0.7.2.1 but is not approved on AMO yet, so you get an old version unless you scroll down to developer channel releases. There are so many options you become almost drunk with power. I kid...
    7. Stylish / Greasemonkey - I'm a huge fan of customizing and enhancing website styling and functionality exactly how I want. These two extensions are invaluable in letting me do so with custom scripts.
    8. Classic Theme Restorer - I also like making my browser behave how I see fit. This one brings back a lot of Firefox's old UI elements, letting me pick and choose whatever I want to restore or modify.
    9. Imagus / Viewhance - Thumbnail enlarger and basic in-browser image utilities, respectively, by the talented Deathamns. Can't live without these.
    10. The Addon Bar (restored) - Brings back the old addon bar so I can move all those fugly icons out of sight yet still easily accessed. I hate a cluttered toolbar.
And last, but not least (no pun intended), LastPass comes with me wherever I go. Most of my extensions are privacy/security oriented, or just plain ol' internet-enhancing.

Just had a try, looks like you need to add your own subscriptions and use a clean URL for the .txt file itself. To do this, I just extracted the URL for the filter from the subscription button:

    abp:subscribe?location=https%3A%2F%2Fraw.github.com%2Fliamja%2FPrebake%2Fmaster%2Fobtrusive.txt&title=Prebake
    %3a is a colon :
    %2f is a slash /
    therefore:
    Code:
    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/liamja/Prebake/master/obtrusive.txt

Cool, I now could indeed add the filter to ABP. I have cleared all cookies to test it, but sadly enough it doesn't always seem to work in Opera. But it's still better than nothing.

Strange. If Opera supports Fanboy's Annoyances, I believe it also blocks the EU cookies warning. Otherwise it would appear that the extension is your best solution :)

I wanted to sent you a PM, so that we don't have to hijack this topic. But since I can't, can you perhaps tell me how to add Fanboy's Annoyances to ABP? I get the same error as with PreBake. It would be really awesome if I could get rid of these alerts, they are retarded and bad for my health.

EDIT: Sorry never mind, it was quite easy to do, let's hope this will fix it! This is the location: https://easylist-downloads.adblockplus.org/fanboy-annoyance.txt

This one works great, especially if you're running out of room on your Bookmarks Toolbar.

I just downloaded it and like it so far :thumb:

Noticed that you have both Ublock and BitDefender TrafficLight enabled. Do you disable any of the filter sets in one or the other, or do you leave both as is? I would like to know this because I also have both of these extensions and I was wondering if I should do some enabling/disabling to address redundancy and possible performance issues, however I noticed that TrafficLight does not disclose the origin of their filter lists ... they use generic descriptions, e.g phishing filter, anti-fraud filter, malware filter, etc.

uBlock nor ABP, Adblock will give any phishing/malware alerts, thus Traffic Light. Don't see any way to fiddle with Traffic Light's settings, either. Both work together just fine. I do malware/phish testing over on MalwareTips and these extensions don't seem to conflict.

Tnx for your response. Yes that makes sense with malware and phishing notification/alerts.

I used to use ABP and NoScript, but now it's uBlock Origin only.
