    I've never heard of any of them. BrightExplorer looks interesting as I always prefer tabs to multiple windows. But it's rare for me to have more than one explorer window open, so I probably won't try it.

    I bet they would all be security related and most of them couldn't be used by non-geek users. :)

    Why on earth did they combine Metro apps with standard apps? But anyway, be cautious with this one (first link), the GUI is nice (Win 8 should have offered this) but it didn't work correctly and was hard to get rid of. I tested it months ago. The second one is kind of interesting, sort of like a lightweight firewall. Is GlassWire the same?
