No it's actually a release version we will have to wait for a change log! And yes the Beta Channel has it as well.

I guess that is why I am not affected, since I am stuck in the 32bit world of XP .:)

Does WSA causes conflict with 360IS and Comodo FW?

If I intend to install WSA ona machine with 360IS and Comodo FW, what settings should I use?

Daniel...do you leave the security setting on ...medium? High? Max? Just curious since you were discussing settings earlier. I have mine on high...think the set up says (haven't read in a while) use medium unless you suspect a possible infection. I have yet to have any FP's or any other issues with WSA...it just runs.

Always Max since the Prevx days! And are you talking about on the online console I leave it at User Configuration.

Really can you try a clean reinstall of WSA? If using the Beta Link download a fresh copy with that link! Also can you check Task Manager and look at Windows Explorer and tell me how much RAM it's using?

Can you please do a clean reinstall of WSA and Please follow the steps closely!

    • Make sure you have a copy of your Keycode
    • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
    • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
    • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
    • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings as you can set it up as you like once it's done
    • Let it finish it's install scan
    • Reboot once again
And let me know after a few scans.

    Thanks,

    TH

I'm curious. Are you complaining about an increase in 10 seconds for a scan?

Regarding the heuristic settings in Webroot. Besides the default enhanced setting, does anybody recommend the other two heuristic settings maximum and whitelisted?

I have used WSA (and previously Prevx) on Maximum Heuristics for a long time (on several systems), and see absolutely no problems with e.g. False Positives.
I have not tried the "specifically whitelisted" setting.

I would recommend the Maximum setting, or at least give it a try.

Same here I always have it Set to Maximum with no issues. And the one bellow would make it act like an Anti-EXE for unknown programs to the Cloud Database.

    Cheers,

    TH
