There´s no integration with Opera. And can you tell a bit more about RoboForm, did you have a bad experience? Btw, I´ve checked it out and RoboForm is not for me, too bloated, it just doesn´t feel right. It doesn´t work with Opera, at least not the plugin. And besides, I hate cloud based services.

To be honest, I believe that RoboForm may have had the best of intentions when they offered the free lifetime upgrades, but eventually found that it wasn't paying the bills. But the way the handled the whole matter by tricking people into downloading the new version thinking they were getting a free upgrade when they weren't, then making it hard to find the previous version, pretending the free lifetime license never existed, then making it hard to export your passwords to other programs, and who knows what all, just was not a decent way to handle the whole matter. That's why I would never trust, use or recommend anything by Siber Systems.
Actually, now that I think of it, letting a third party app manage your passwords (as browser plug-in) might actually be a risk, of course I´m talking from a paranoid point of view. I really don´t understand why browsers have never been able to come up with a good and safe password manager. I can use the one in Opera, but it´s kinda crappy.
I just realized yesterday that I was a few versions behind with KeePass. Upgraded from 2.23 to 2.26 on both computers.
Firefox has master password protection and there are few password extension which can give more functionality to this function. Old Opera had it too. Chromium and its clones have (had?) it, but it was a joke. IE is a joke of a browser. No idea about Safari.

I don't think I'd want one, really. Even if it could save all the other stuff (usernames, email addresses, security question "answers," password change dates and reminders, notes about sites, etc.), it would be so tied to that particular browser that it may be difficult to switch to a different browser.
right you are. I don't like the idea of a browser managing and storing passwords. now, I just use an encrypted text file, then copy and paste when needed.
KeePass roolz. One of my absolute must have apps. Its hard to remember all the account i have. The only thing is that i dont store important account information in KeePass.
I just use password managers to store my passwords. Their role is nothing more than just for "oh that was my password for this account" purpose.
i just started using EssentialPIM Pro, which is a Personal Information Manager. it encrypts the database with AES 256 and has a password manager and generator. they have a free version which has those 2 features included.
The Yubikeys have the same basic functionality (2 configuration slots), with different form factors (Nano), and what is pre-configured in the case of VIP or LastPass. The Neo supports NFC and certificate based tokens. They are developing a FIDO based key. So for LastPass, can either get the LastPass pre-configured (with LP account), or setup the capability manually with the OTP in Slot 1. In my case, I configure Slot 2 to support HMAC-SHA1 which works with Windows Logon security and with Password Safe 3.3 which includes YK support. The nice thing about the YK is that key/secret management is easier and more intuitive than for certificate based tokens, because you can effectively duplicate a key for a particular user, just like you could for a physical key. Of course, the keys have a unique ID too. LastPass can register up to 5 Yubikeys under the account.
