Yes, that's the one that I am thinking that might be fixed.
Sandboxie control>Configure, Click on "Forget hidden messages" to clear all Hidden messages.

You ll see messages you hidden in Configure>Edit configuration, they ll look something like this.

    SbieCtrl_HideMessage=1308,notepad.exe [DefaultBox]

SBIE forum member KerorO wrote yesterday, "Error message can be regenerated by move the mouse point over to the title bar "home" of this http://blog.dynox.cn/ ". That might be an effective way for any Chrome users to test if the new beta has fixed the GUIPROXY_00000001 - chrome.exe error. Sometimes you need to hover around the 'Home' a little bit to get it to trip.
I did what you advised and it said, "The 'hidden' indicator has been removed from all messages". Not what I wanted to do, Bo. :(
I asked, "How does a user check all of the ignore commands he has put in place?" I didn't want to undo them, just see which ones I had instituted. Perhaps I didn't word my question properly.

Ah, now I see your edit.

Sandboxie 4.09.02 beta is working well here with Palemoon browser. Actually, so was 4.08 but updated anyway.

Back at ya Bo. Just want to state that since I've started using Sandboxie a few years ago in my XP days, using Sandboxie 3.56, and then moving on to Windows 7, and continuing through all the Sandboxie 4.0 updates until the present beta version 4.09.02, that I have never had a problem with Sandboxie while using firefox in the past and now Palemoon with noScript. The only time I posted a problem in the Sandboxie forum was a few years ago when I was using PC Tools firewall. Now I just use the Windows firewall with no problems.
Anyway, keep up the good work Bo, I tune in to the Sandboxie forum daily and I see that you are helping quite a few people there as well as here. ( I would too if I wasn't so damn old  ) :thumb:

Sadly, demoneye, I'm in the same position. I've not been able to use a single version of Sandboxie since upgrading to Windows 8.1 :'( .

For balance it is worth saying I've used SBIE and Win 8.1 since the OS was released with very few issues so the problems some have are obviously real and annoying to those impacted, but they're not universally experienced.

I don't use much 3rd party security software which no doubt helps and if what I use doesn't work with SBIE I change that software not SBIE. I've done that on every version of Windows since XP so don't really see 8.1 as anything different.

    Cheers

That has been my method of operation as well. Quite a long time back I quit using OA firewall because of an issue with Sandboxie. I didn't have to think twice about with piece of software was going to get removed.
But I deviate from that norm when SBIE and Chrome conflict. Much as I like Sandboxie, I also like using Chrome. I find myself in a real dilemma when those two are not coexisting peacefully.

Well yes, good point, perhaps "prediction" wasn´t the right word. :D

Btw, in 2004 I already posted about SBIE, check out Tzuk´s reaction. :p

I wonder if he knew it would become such a huge success.

Nice find... Interesting how SBIE started on this forum. Ten years later it was software with many loyal forum users. As tzuk said: "That's life for ya." :)

Thanks by me ,too,Rasheed for this 'artifact',which is so great I will use it to explain Sandboxie to my uncle who knows nothing about it.
I find Tzuk's words explain his creation in such a simple and effective way.
Please note also in what humble fashion he is describing it,the mark of a real valuable person, an ever decreasing stuff.

Other than Online Armor Web Shield not working with Sandboxie, what OA firewall issue
    did you have with Sandboxie?

Did you exclude Sandboxie folder in Online Armor? Sandboxie should popup software
compatibility window when installing Online Armor. Then click on OK.

The operative phrase in my statement was, "quite a long time back", Compu KTed. I have long since forgotten the particulars and I am not in the mood to go looking for tech support emails and forum posts to try to answer your question.
I have 100% moved on from OA, found a terrific substitute firewall in Comodo, and really have no inclination to go back.
I do appreciate your inquiry and your effort to assist, but none of it is relevant to me now. ;)

Beta working great here on Windows 8.1. I agree that SBIE is a mainstay.

    Nicely put. :thumb:

And the funny thing is, others have also tried to launch a similar product, but none of them were as good.

    Examples:

    Greenborder (bought by Google)
    BufferZone (pretty much dead)
    SafeSpace (integrated into AppSense)

    From your post:
For now this update is optional, but it will be necessary if you'll want to get next updates. So Invincea has about a month to resolve issues.

I wonder how long it would take them to fix the issue - days, weeks, months?
I really don't like this trend of "don't update/use the program with sandboxie until we fix the issue" because it's a dangerous one. And so far I am far from impressed. Actually I am downright disappointed. Who knows how many other updates we might have to avoid or how many other applications we might have to run outside the sandbox until they "fix it".
