You mean this one? Well, I must be special but I don't get it.

And you are paying them $165 a year for what? The good feeling? Uh.

I just got my free ZAPro license using my wife's Facebook account, (I'm one of the few Facebook holdouts left *puppy* ). It took about 15 minutes to arrive after registering.

Yes, that only applies to Identity Guard and you do not need to download it to get the firewall. They are separate installers.

The email states clearly that the license is valid from 4-13-2010 to 4-14-2011. I don't believe it matters when you install, but the clock is ticking on the license.

Installed fast and doesn't seem to slow my computer down. I thought this version had Forcefield. Doesn't really matter. I run Sandboxie with Google Chrome Beta and have Clam for Windows just in case something manages to sneak through all that.

The last ZA I used was v 4.x A long time ago.

Actually, I think Sandboxie with Chrome's sandbox is probably enough, but couldn't resist a freebie.

If you install the toolbar you get what looks like Forcefield lite for IE (don't remember if it installs in Firefox as well).

I can confirm it works with FireFox. Doesn't work with Opera.

As I reported yesterday, you don't have to wait until six. I do not have a Fb account but just followed the links and had my email with key in five minutes. Like last year, I'll probably never use this but will think about it for a while.

Okay then. I think I'll pass on this one. I don't think I'm giving out my social insurance number or credit card information for something that's supposed to be free.

Gaaaawd, please for the last time, I dont have a facebook account, and for getting a license for ZoneAlarm Pro (which is not a free product by any means), you just need your email id and name. I am sure you can spare that much.

For those concerned about Facebook the offer is now active directly from this zonealarm page. Note that there are still two products which can be downloaded separately or together, and only the IdentityGuard offer will ask you for sensitive personal information.
