I think Zemana should put the scanning engines somewhere in the program again. At least telling people who are new what scanning engines are used.

Edited to add: and on your website too.

I found a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hY-3MhbTlzo of another person testing Zemana Antimalware.

The uninstaller doesn't remove the ZAM and ZAM_Guard drivers (zam64.sys and zamguard64.sys). It also leaves behind a ZAM Controller Service.
zam64.sys used to give me BSOD's. I haven't had any bluescreens lately, but I'd still like to be able to clear my system of these.

    Well, another beta....another day.

Anyhow, I went back to just the smart scan for portable version v2.14.1.667 this time and only got the interaction with SAP this one time.

Also, this has been happening for sometime with earlier versions as well , but I hadn't mentioned it before, but while scanning it continues to show the one file being scanned more than once. Just wondering why it does that. It is only [that I notice] file that seems to be repeated during the scan.

Unfortunately, reviews for this software are mediocre at best (CNET, Softpedia, etc.), although it certainly has potential. What is with the promotion of 'multiple scanning engines'? It seems that the anti-virus software products that use 'multiple engines' have poor reviews, which is hard to understand..Zemana needs to work on this if it's going to be something worth having on a PC - there are simply to many better products available.

@atunis5804 Who are you going to believe, random users at download sites, or uses here who have found it do an excellent job of detecting malware?

I think it's an excellent product. If I didn't, I would have stopped using it long ago. The multiple engines are for better detection.

In my experience, this is simply on the of the best antimalware products there is.

You can't believe everything on those kinds of sites anyway. One time Mcafee was voted editor's choice on cnet and I bought it and had nothing but problems with it.

Many have asked for a return of the scan engines selection, but no response. @Emre TINAZTEPE?

Does that mean this is the final and all beta testers should download or should we stick to the betas?

This is the latest stable release.
If you have the beta, you are updating to the latest beta.
If you have the stable, you are updating to the latest stable.

fyi: the first stable released since long time ago=

This in addition to the two previous posts (#'s 640 and 639). Potent, valid points for sure. Curious to see how Emre responds in kind.

Lifetime, I was one of the lucky early beta testers.

Edited to add: only because I follow freebies. Before that I never even heard of Zemana. I also use the antilogger free.
