XP Pro won't boot with SpywareGuard 2.2

I downloaded and installed SpywareGuard 2.2 yesterday. I downloaded the "Minimal Setup", as suggested for Win XP. This morning, XP Pro would not boot completely. It gets to desktop and hangs...hour glass dislpayed at cusor when postioned at taskbar. ZoneAlarm Suite and networking incons in tool tray don't load. Also got a Dr. Watson warning to send an error report. Had to restart via Ctrl>Alt>Del to get into safe mode. I first scheduled an disk error check, but on reboot the same problem existed. Restarted again in safe mode and removed SpywareGuard and restarted without problem. Help!?
