Has anyone heard of this? I saw that their Security Suite on EBay is only $4.99 US.

Sounds like it's very close to be rogue antivirus program, according to the user review on download.com. I would stay away.

    Cheers

Yes it sounds like snake oil to me.
"XMicro is a Worldwide leading developer of security software" I for one have never heard of them.

Give Malwarebytes forums a tip. They'll test it - the developers behind MBAM is very set on fighting rouge programs...

I agree. When an advertisement claims that the developer is a "Worldwide leading developer" you would think someone would have heard of them!

Xmicro is the antecedent of "it" in ePost's statement "They'll test it" -- therefore, ePost is rather thoroughly on topic IMO.

Yes sir,I caught the same flak from the same source.
Apparently to mention the name of another security app in a thread
dedicated to another,is deemed as off topic by some.
