Let me guess that the rollout of 46 will take over a week or 2 to get to everybody..

Usually over a few days but if you want it now Right Click on the Tray Icon and Check for Updates and if it says there is none you can Download Here and install over top.

I checked for updates and it said i had the current version. Then the Tray Icon dissapeared and WSA appeared to shut itself down. So i started it up and .46 showed up.

46 seems to be less Background and surfing slowdowns. As time goes on i will see if that changes and gets slower like it did before.

There is or was a problem on the back end and the last I heard it was being worked on but Joe can give us more info to see if it has been completed. I find the search results are back to normal for me I'm not sure about others but it had nothing to do with this update as it was a back end issue.

After boot for the last week i have shutdown WSA and gone with no A/V because of the BG and other slowdowns that were bothering me. I have 46 running now and will long enough to see how it slows things down before i decide to shut it down or use it. I don't use any of the WSA Extensions. ***** I just had to shut WSA Down because things got real slow after a few hours and got fast again after shutdown. *** I thought i shut it down but actually did not happen maybe because of the import i attempted before.. Things are fast enough now so not sure what happened before. ***** The WSA slowdown after a few hours was to much so just had to shutdown and start again. Everything is faster again. 46 has the same problem as before it looks like.

The only thing I've noticed (other than maybe a bit snappier response) is that the firewall is not showing any active connections.
(I've rebooted twice since the update this morning and no joy. The firewall previously showed active connections until the update.)

Protection is working, though, for both bad sites as well as eicar downloads so I'm not too concerned...especially since I have Online Armor as my firewall and leave WSA at the default firewall setting. Still, it would be nice to know what the issue is.
