Thanks for the info, TH!
Is that what Webroot considers their Black Friday special? It's really not even competitive with FAR specials with the Norton's and Kaspersky's of the world. But hey, the $49.95 Security Health Check Service looks like a steal.
You'll find the best promotions for Webroot at retail stores. It isn't Black Friday yet and I don't believe these are the Black Friday promotions for Webroot.
This looks like a good one...WSA Essentials 3 PCs for £23.99 : http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/webroot-secure-anywhere-essentials-2012-3-pcs-11267657-pdt.html
Similar offer at Amazon UK: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Webroot-Sec...AGMK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1322097082&sr=8-3
This is pretty good if you are someone who does the FAR deals- Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete 2012, 3 user
If the rebates can be stacked the product would end up free. Competitive upgrade from either McAfee, Symantec, Kaspersky, CA, Trend Micro or Webroot needed for the competitive upgrade rebate.
Amazon has a great deal on a single user license right now 1 Year for 15 bucks: http://www.amazon.com/Webroot-Secur..._1_4?s=software&ie=UTF8&qid=1322167984&sr=1-4

If you live in the United States then go to Wal-Mart. You can get a license for 3 PC's for the AV for like $29 or $39. The 3 license security essentials does not cost much more. I regret buying a license from them now online after helping them with their beta testing. Why was I charged much more than the general consumers had to pay? I payed over $100 for my 6 license. I would have thought they would have gave those that helped them a discount. What was I thinking!
When it comes time to renew, send me a PM and I'll help you out
