I was doing a backup of files from Windows 10 to an ext4 drive, when windows crashed with a kernel error. Now I see (in windows and debian) that the folders I copied to the ext4 drive are instead files, sized about 17-40kb. Is there any way to restore my data? Is it safe to say that writing support on the ext4 is unstable and should not be used?
